Throughout my time on Council, I've encouraged Ward 1 residents to have their say in the decisions that affect our communities.
Election Day is your opportunity to do exactly that.
The 2026 Haldimand County Municipal and School Board Election takes place Monday, October 26, 2026. You can vote online in advance or cast a paper ballot in person.
However you choose to vote, I hope you'll take the opportunity to make your voice heard.

Polls are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Haldimand County uses a Vote Anywhere system for in-person voting. That means eligible voters can cast their municipal ballot at any of the County's Voting Day locations.

Vote Online
Prefer to vote from home?
Internet voting opens:
Friday, October 16 at 9 a.m.
Online voting closes:
Sunday, October 25 at 5 p.m.
Eligible voters will receive a Voter Notification Letter containing a Voter Identification Number (VIN) and Personal Identification Number (PIN).
To vote online, you will need your VIN, PIN and date of birth.
Vote Early In Person
Haldimand County will hold advance polls from October 17 to October 21 at locations throughout the County.
The Ward 1 advance voting location is:
Jarvis Lions Community Centre
18 James Street East, Jarvis
Tuesday, October 20
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
You are not limited to the Jarvis location. Eligible Haldimand County voters can use any of the County's advance polling locations.
Make Sure You're Registered to Vote
Don't wait until Election Day to discover there's a problem with your voter information.
Elections Ontario maintains the Voters List used for Ontario municipal elections. You can check whether you're registered, update your name or address, or add yourself to the list through its online voter registration service.
What Do I Need to Vote?
Before the election, eligible voters will receive a Voter Notification Letter in the mail containing their VIN and PIN.
Voting online?
You'll need your VIN, PIN and date of birth.
Voting in person?
Bring your Voter Notification Letter and acceptable identification showing your name and address.
If you're unsure what identification is accepted or have questions about your eligibility, check Haldimand County's official voter information before heading to the polls.

I'm Asking for Your Support

It has been an honour to represent Ward 1 and to serve as Haldimand County's Deputy Mayor.
I've worked hard to listen, learn and make sure our communities have a voice at the table. There is more work ahead, and I'm ready to continue doing it.
